Forage & Feast — The Siargao Way

Harvest the reef, share the feast. Learn to gather sea grapes and sea urchins with locals, then enjoy a fresh picnic on the shore.

The experience

Siargao’s reefs are still generous if you know where to look. You’ll board a traditional fishing boat with a local guide, learn how sea grapes are gathered sustainably, dive for sea urchins with a fisherman who’s been doing this his whole life, then bring everything back to the shore for a fresh reefside feast — sea urchins, sea grapes, seasonal fruits, whatever the day provides.

How the day flows

  • Boat ride — traditional fishing boat and beautiful Siargao views
  • Harvest — learn how locals sustainably gather sea grapes and other seafood
  • Sea urchins — discover and collect fresh sea urchins straight from the reef
  • Prepare — learn how to clean and prepare your harvest the local way
  • Island feast — a picnic lunch with fresh seafood, fruits and local flavours
  • Memories — relax, take photos, make memories that last
